TOPIC: Show multiple time?

Show multiple time? 3 years, 2 months ago #123

  • zen
Hello,

I have one module showing the correct time in PHP method.

When I copy the module and tried to create a second clock in the same PHP method, the time shown is not correct.

I'm using them in AM/PM format and when I add offset, it does not show am at all.

Is there any special trick to get two instances of module working?

TIA

Hi there,

I haven't tried having more than one copy of the module before. It is an interesting idea though. I am not sure how to make the current version work or why it doesn't work but I will take a look and see if I can add this ability to the next version.

Hi Ryan

I have got the same question. Sofar I only tried Javascript. A second instance does not work at all.
I don't mind either Java or PHP.
I would like to create a column of times for the different timezones my website will attract customers.
So question is: What is the status on this?
Regards
Philip

Hi there,

I have been working on this and I am almost done. I fixed the issue with the spaces and am working on making it able to show multiple instances of the module. It is a bit tricky and may require some testing once its done but I think I am on the right track and should have it ready any moment =)

Ok I think I have done it!

Can you please test this version and see if it will work properly for you?

To upgrade simply overwrite the files in your /modules/mod_date2 folder with the files in this zip.

Thanks

Ryan
