TOPIC: Separator to display after the day of the week

Separator to display after the day of the week 2 years, 2 months ago #200

Hi thanks for a great module! I'm trying to get my date to display without the day of the week. In the module parameters there is a field for "Separator to display after the day of the week." The current value is a comma and when I try to clear and update the field, the comma comes back. So my date display ends up with two commas:

March,9,,2010

Is this a permissions problem on a file? Is there an easy way I can get the date to display

March 9, 2010

Thanks for your time

I think it is because the default in the modules xml file is a comma. Therefore you could add some html to take its place such as <span></span> and see if that works.

Thanks for the quick reply! Could you clarify which file I should be adding html to? Is it merely a matter of adding a "&nbsp" or removing a "'" in mod_date2.xml to get the desired format?

Add it to the module parameter you are trying to change.

Edit: To clearer, not in any file, in the module params in the Module Manager in the administrator backend.

You could actually modify the xml file as well if you wanted by removing the comma in the default attribute on the param you want to modify as well.
