Thanks for a great module. Was looking for something simple, but with lots of flexibility. And I found it! The only problem is taht I need my text to appera in white instead of black. Can anyone suggest a workaround for this?

I believe the text colour is determined by your template.

Depending on the template you are using you should be able to add a module class suffix to the date module within the Joomla backend.

If you add -date as the class suffix in the module parameters you can then add a line to your template_css.css file which looks like this:

.moduletable-date {color:#fff;}

Depending on your template the .moduletable part may be different.

Thanks Ryan.

I've added the line of code in my css template file (sample below)

------------------------------------------

/* @group Modules */

div.moduletable-date {color: #fff;}

/* Style 1 - S1/Default */

div.moduletable, div.moduletableS1 {
margin: 0px 0px 10px 0px;
padding: 0px 0px 15px 0px;
background: url(../images/divider_bar.png) repeat-x center bottom;
}

div.moduletable h3, div.moduletableS1 h3 {
padding: 0px 4px 2px 4px;
margin: 5px 0px;
display: inherit;
}

/* Style 2 - S2 */

div.moduletableS2 {
margin: 0px 0px 10px 0px;
padding: 0px 0px 15px 0px;
background: url(../images/divider_bar.png) repeat-x center bottom;
}

div.moduletableS2 h3 {
padding: 0px 4px 2px 4px;
margin: 5px 0px;
display: inherit;
}

----------------------------------------------

I've put teh clas suffix "-date" in, but unfortunately, thereis no colour change! Any other suggestions?

Your module isn't in the moduletable element.

You should be able to add this line to your CSS.

#ty2udate {color:#fff;}

Note that Joomla 1.5 by default doesn't translate the characters properly in the module parameters for some reason and that is why the ? show up. You would have to change those to something else in the module parameters.
